St. Colette School

Mission Statement

We believe that Jesus Christ entrusted His Church the task of making disciples of all nations.

As an integral part of St. Colette Parish, St. Colette School is committed to teach His message to our chilcren and to develop a community of love and service in each child, under the guidance of faculty and parents, will have the opportunity to grow socially,  academically and spiritually toward responsible adulthood.

Since 1960, St. Colette School has provided educational excellence to the Rolling Meadows and Palatine communities.  The school's philosophy is to provide academic excellence, build self esteem and confidence, and instill social values into all aspects of life, consistent with the gospel teachings of Jesus Christ.  This time honored approach to education has made Catholic Education one of the most respected educational systems available.

St. Colette School believes that a true education aims at the formation of the whole human person, mentally, physically and spiritually.  Consistent with this belief, St. Colette School provides a curriculum that extends beyond the traditional education in public schools.   Faith formation is a core component of the curriculum and becomes a component of each student's daily life through prayer, worship and the study of social justice. Fine arts and music extend beyond the classroom and annual concerts to our school masses and daily prayer.  Parish activities are an integral part of student life, emphasizing the school's unique Catholic identity.
