Fundraising / Policy Regarding Friday Bingo Responsibilities
St. Colette School maintains its cost effective tuition rates in part through several key fundraising activities. All families benefit from your participation in these fundraisers. In order to properly operate our key fundraisers, we ask each family to make a personal commitment to volunteer at as many events as possible. In particular, we ask each family to commit to working three (3) shifts at our weekly Friday Night St. Colette Bingo games. Each week, our Friday Night Bingo requires approximately 8-10 volunteers. Bingo is held each Friday throughout the year (except key Holy Days). Shift hours are 5:30pm until approximately 10:00pm (or until the last game ends). Since Bingo provides a significant source of income to St. Colette School, families who can not fulfill this commitment will be assessed an additional $350 Bingo Commitment Waiver fee. Selection of dates to staff our Bingo Games will be available at fee day in August.
School Raffle Responsibilities
The St. Colette Sweepstakes and Draw Down Raffles are two (2) major fundraisers for the school. Each family is asked to sell $100 worth of tickets for each of these fundraisers ($200 total).
Financial Obligations Associated with Enrollment
Each family is responsible for the financial cost associated with tuition and fees, including non-parishioner and Bingo Commitment Waiver fees. Your financial commitments include timely payment of all outstanding balances based on the payment schedules chosen at the time of your annual enrollment. Families who cannot meet their financial commitments are required to notify the Principal of St. Colette School at time of payment delinquency to discuss payment terms.
St. Colette Parish believes that all families should have the option to choose Catholic Education for their children. Consistent with this belief, St. Colette School maintains a tuition assistance program to assist those families where personal and societal resources are limited. Applications for tuition assistance are available at the school office and reviewed in confidence by the Principal and Pastor. Applications for tuition assistance must be submitted and reviewed each year.
Parishioners’ Commitment
Recognizing the global reach of the Catholic Church, St. Colette School welcomes, values, and respects families of our world’s many diverse faiths and cultures. While all families are obligated to actively participate in and support the education of their children, Catholic families who are parishioners of St. Colette Parish or other Catholic parishes are uniquely obligated to make a personal commitment to their Catholic faith as demonstrated through their active participation in parish stewardship, faithful Catholic worship, and supportive participation in the education and faith formation of your children.
